DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARDS
Deadlines:
February 1 Nominations submitted to the State Awards Chairperson
February 20 States MUST have selections completed
February 20 State winners MUST be submitted to the Area Chairs
March 15 Area Awards selections MUST be made
March 15 Area Chair MUST submit the winners to the National Chair
March 20 NASCOE Awards Chair will order plaques
April 1 Area Chairs shall notify the winners and the person writing the nomination
April 15 The NASCOE winners MUST be selected
May 1 The NASCOE Chair shall notify all winners, Area Exec’s, and the person submitting the nomination
June 20 NASCOE Awards Chair will order plaques
SCHOLARSHIPS
Deadlines:
March 1 State Applications MUST be submitted to the Area Chairs
March 30 Area selections MUST be completed
April 1 Area Chairs shall notify the winners
April 15 Area winners MUST be submitted to the NASCOE Chair
April 20 NASCOE Scholarship Chair shall print certificates
May 30 NASCOE winner selection MUST be made
June 10 Notify the NASCOE winner and the Area Exec
PROFESSIONAL IMPROVEMENTS AWARDS
These Awards can be submitted throughout the year to the respective State Awards Chair.
THERE ARE NO DEADLINES!!!!
NASCOE MEMBERS SCHOLARSHIP
January 15 Deadline for applications to reach the Area Chairperson
February 1 Deadline for Area selections to be completed.
February 5 Deadline for Area Chairs to notify the Area winners
SICK LEAVE AWARDS
These Awards shall be submitted at the various levels of recognition. THERE ARE NO DEADLINES!!!!
EXTRA MILE AWARD
These Awards can be submitted throughout the year to the respective State Awards Chair, then to the Area Awards Chair, then to the National Chair who will issue the certificates.
THERE ARE NO DEADLINES!!!! THERE IS NO JUDGING!!!!
FIRST TIMERS AWARD
This Award will take place during the national convention each year for members that are attending their first national convention. The award is a "cash" award to be presented at the Awards Banquet.
